Replacing my sus fork with rigids for road

Hi,
I have an old Giant Boulder 2009 (yes I know bag of nails - I've since bought a better bike...) and I want to replace the cack front suspension fork with a rigid fork. I'm only ever going to use it for commuting, mainly on towpaths and I dont really need suspension for that.
Can anyone offer any advice on what fork to buy? The offending article I want to remove are Suntour X.C.T 75mm travel and I assume I need to buy a rigid fork that allows for the length of the travel? It also has mechanical disks so I need one that lets me refit that. I'm not looking to spend too much and I think Giant produced a fully rigid Boulder but cant find one anywhere.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello,
Try One-one - they do a lot of cheap, high quality stuff - these fit the bill:

You could go carbon if you wanted lighter & less vibration - but they would be more expensive - for what you need I suggest the above - can't go wrong for £30 odd poundKinesis xc 130:

The forks above are 440mm A-C, corrected for 100mm travel frames. For your frame, I'd go for these at 420mm:

I have a set of the 440mm on my commuter and they're great for the money0
