Cardboard boxes for packaging racing bikes

Hi,
I am wondering if anyone knows of a company or anyone who has any cardboard boxes for bikes so I can delived them south from the top of Scotland after a LEJOG (Lands End to John 'o' Groats) bike ride.

Alot of companies charge over £10 for a box and then over £15 to deliver them. All I am looking for is a second hand box for helping people get their bikes returned home.

I am willing to pay for delivery of these boxes so If anyone knows of anywhere or anyone with free boxes, please let me know.

I should have a spare one in a 3-5 weeks. My new bike is sitting in it in our garage but as my left hand is in plaster I am in no hurrry to take it out. Keeping it in the box keeps if safe from bashes etc just now.

I am in East Lothian.

Once it is available you will have to be quick as my missus is rather prompt with recycling iof this stuff.

Any decent LBS will give you one for free.

Phone your LBS up. They are glad to get rid of them when a delivery arrives

Problem is that Caithness is a long way from Halfords or any other decent LBS.

Too late. My bike is built and I am off down to Leeds for 3 days leaving my wife full and unfettered access to the garage and the recycling boxes.
