Any shorts non baggy and non lycra?

I'm looking for some shorts, as the title suggests, which aren't lycra or the baggy MTB style. I wear lycra for rides of a few hours and may do some full day 'sightseeing' and mini tour rides.
I can't see any on the net and have thought about maybe looking for some used in other sports and wearing some padded undershorts. 'Normal' shorts may be a no no with the seams which dig into your vital bits and bobs.
I wear Ron Kit Bikester origins as the long legged version of somewthing I am looking for - anything else like them?
