    They also must surely be less expensive than the full viz rooms. (I was so jealous when a mate of mine got to work with one of them :lol: )

    Couldn't do the sound - in the office, but the pics look amazing.
    Wonder if it is transferable to tv/vid at some point in the future?. 3D without glasses.

  • The thing is. When you're talking to a client about a new construction project, nothing is better than having a well made scale model for them to go "oooooh".

    That said, it's pretty damn cool

    There is something very similar, either available now, or coming soon. I think it's from LG. It was some Sony reps I met who were raving about it.
    They were saying, almost literally....

    "yeah, Sony 3dTVs are fantastic, and of course we suggest you should buy one of ours, but OH My GOD, have you seen what LG are doing? It's AMAZING!!!"

    Well that's really going to pi** off the other people developing them. Or is this just going to be another thing they're going to claim to have invented?

    The patent was applied for in 2006, only just been granted so it appears that they've been working on it for a while.

    Oh good, so all the forthcoming holographic stuff will now have to pay a royalty to Apple. Excellent :roll:
