Group set upgrade
HI
I have a Claude Butler with sora 8 speed gearing and a triple chainset with an internal BB. Would I be able to upgrade this to SRAM Rival gearing with an external BB, I would like the 10 speed, compact 50/34 chain set. I find the bike itself very comfortable, this is why I would rather try the upgrade rather than buying a completly new bike.

Should be fine mate as long as you find out what bottom bracket thread is used before purchasing
Strange isn't it, a mate of mine has 2 carbon bikes but rides his Claud Butler for everything other than events as he swears he's more comfortable on it! So I reckon they must know something others don't hey
