sram s30 al sprint wheels and rear mech problem

I treated myself to some new sram s30 al wheels but when i put them on the bike the rear mech keeps clicking against spokes. i adjusted the rear mech screws which limit the extent of inner and outer movement but still can't get the rear mech indexing properly despite adjusting the indexing. Am i missing something? are sram wheels like mavic in that a spacer is required?
Any help would be much appreciated.

    i have my self the same wheelset. not any problem at all at the moment. been using it for nearly two months now. and i have an 8 speed cassete on it. maybe your RD hanger is bit bent??? just a thought though..3
