I took a whole bunch of componants down to my LBS last September ready for building up on a new frame with the Alfine 11.
Well the hub arrived on Monday and the bike has been built.
But I got a call saying that the seat post had failed when renewing the cable.
Seemingly a bonded part is no longer bonded ( I dont know because I haven't seen it).
Damn it all, it's now out of warentee (spelling eh!).
So I sent an email to gravity dropper and without question they will take it back (including dispatch cost), repair and service and return at no cost what so ever !
Well, let me just say........aint that just fantastic!
I had hoped to get it repaired, but to respond within a couple of hours and meet and pass expectations.
Delighted !
