Garmin Edge maps on Micro SD card question

Will the City Navigator Europe NT on microSD™ card that came with my Edge 705 work in an Edge 800? or are they coded for a single unit?

    It will work just put it in the sd card, and you will be able to enable it.... Job done! Good to go. I know, it's what I do....

    Only the DVD version is tied to a single unit...
