Wheel upgrade for Madone 4.7

Hi,
I'm looking to change my wheels mainly so that I can get a PowerTap Pro+ but also looking for some improvement on the current stock Bontranger Race Lite wheels.
I've done lots of reading and changed my mind 100's of times as a result. I've thought of everything from DT Swiss 415's to FFWD F4R-c's.
My budget isn't unlimited by any means but I'd rather spend a little more and see a definite improvement than spend less and have very little improvement.
What kind of price range should I be looking at to see an improvement over the current wheels?
Any suggestions of wheels appreciated...
