Hi all :-)
I have been riding a GT XC2 for the past 4 or 5 years and Ive just purchased a Kona Fire Mountain 2011 through the cycle2work scheme. Hit the funds limit at £500.
I will be collecting the bike hopefully by the end of the week.
I have heard that the Dart 1 forks arnt up to much and am considering upgrading them.
I was just wondering what your views are on this bike and the Dart 1 forks, and what would you upgrade / change to get better performance out of it?
Found a few reviews for older Kona Fire models but none for the 2011.
Thanks very much :-) Cant wait to get out riding,
Pete.

Ride it and if you think something needs replacing, replace it, simple.
I run some very simple parts on my bikes but don't replace them because they just work0 -
Hi flappinganimal,
I have A Firemountain 2009, bought it last year new. I have swapped out the forks for some Rockshox revelation uturns, this has made a great difference oncthe down hills. The bike feels a lot more sure footed now.
