worthwhile fork upgrade?

hi, i have a specialized camber elite with the RS Recon gold tk fork, is swapping the fork for a mint condition 2008 fox talas rlc gonna be a worthwhile upgrade or are the stock forks any good? would be nice to have the option to up the travel to 140mm when needed, mainly ride trail centres. thoughts? cheers

The damper will be much better, and the whole thing will be a bit lighter, so yes, it is.
