  • Tube, pair tyre levers, mini-pump, 3 or 4 hex wrenches.

You're gonna need tubes, puncture repair patches (in case you use all your tubes), tyre levers, a multi tool, a high pressure mini pump (an MTB one won't get you to a high enough pressure), not much else really... something to drink (bottle cages) and maybe something to eat.

Tyre levers are tyre levers, you don't need new ones.

I have a blackburn air support high pressure pump. It's not the smallest but it is capable of getting a road tyre up to 100psi. Some people like CO2 cannisters.

Tubes, best to buy in bulk. Chain Reaction or Wiggle usually have deals on 10 packs. Personally I don't get on with the specialized ones as they have a threaded valve and I find it gets stuck on the pump. Vittoria are decent and usually cheap.

Multi-tool - presumably you have one for your mountain bike.
Not climber, not sprinter, not rouleur
