Hi all,

I have a cyclescheme voucher for £1000 and not sure which bike to go for. I orginally thought my company was tied to Halfords as last year so was going to choose Boardman pro, however Halfords is not part of the cyclescheme so will be going to a LBS.
My question is which is the best bike for £1000 and if possible i will add a few hundred quid to get something special.

I know Specialized Rockhopper pro 2011 is pretty good, but what about Genesis core 50 or something else.
I am really stuck now and I want to get my bike on order, therefor eplease can you help.

Cheers,

g

Spesh RH Pro is £200 over the voucher max limit

Cube LTD Team is under the 1k limit & has better forks than the RH Pro & £200 cheaper

Cube LTD Race is £99 over the limit but blows the RH Pro out of the water for spec & value.

Genesis Core 50 is £400 over the voucher limit & the Cube LTD Race still has it equalled, if not beaten for spec

A lot of shops will not allow a top up

Remember if you do top up & it all goes wrong at work (they go out of business, you lose your job) you will lose the top up you paid & the bike, as it is their bike until the final payment

The scheme's rules are being tightened up & clarified to prevent misuse of the system

Get a 2010 Specialized Rockhopper SL Pro.

You will not be dissapointed and the bike is so stunning.
