You know the score I need a bike for under £1300 that is the following:

1. Fast, I am impatient
2. good for traffic/commutes so fast turning
3. Carbon, I have had alu all my life and having recently tried a carbon frame I want to give it a go.

I am a 5'10" tall 28 male and ride on typical UK roads. I am 12 stone so I dont think I need a overly burly frame

I hve looked at the big players such as Bianchi, Colnago, Willier etc but for that budget you either dont get carbon or get carbon with lower end components.

I have specced this bike on Ribble for £1150:
Sportive Racing Carbon
Campagnolo Veloce 10sp Compact Double groupset
Skeleton Campag brakes
Campag Khasim wheelset
FSA Carbon Seatpost
Dedra finishing kit

I have seen the planet X Red for around the same price with a SRAM red groupset

advice please!!!

Nip over to the special edition bike section - you can get pretty much that spec Sportive Racing for £982!

I got a Gran Fondo with carbon Centaur for about £1100 from special edition section. There you go, I've saved you nearly £170
