Track Mitts - numb hands

I suffer from numb hands riding at the track, probably because of the more compact position, and therefore more pressure on them. I currently use Endura FS260 aerogel mitts that are not bad, just wondering if anyone has discovered a really comfortable pair!

I use Specialized BG mitts on the road.
Just enough padding to be good, without being OTT.
Start with a budget, finish with a mortgage!
  • Spesh BG mitts here too. The padding is in the right place and doesn't bunch up under the palm - it just protects the ulner (sp?) nerve that can have an affect on hand discomfort. They're light and comfy too.

Another vote for the Specialized BG mitts, particularly the Pro model.

Steve, it might not just be your mitts. Look at what you are doing with your arms i.e. not riding with locked elbow and therefore supporting your weight through your arms/hands. Along with a slight bend in the arms, keep your shoulders down and relaxed and also think about not gripping the bars too hard.I see these position issues a lot with track riders.
    I’m a sprinter – I warmed up yesterday.
