Sram Force chainset bb compability
I did have a Sram Force BB30 chainset on my Cannondale until I knackered the frame.
Looking at replacement frames and most I have chosen aren't BB30.
I know a frame with a standard Britsish thread bb can fit my Sram Force chainset if I buy the Sram bb (I thibnk it's called the GXP ?)
What I want to know is will the chainset fit frames listed as "pressfit" bb be compatable with my chainset ? or bb86 or bb90 or anything else for that matter that could become an expensive mistake.
Any advice on what to look at and what to avoid would be appreciated.
Many thanks

I'm not sure I understand but a BB30 c/set would not fit a standard frame, as far as I know, as the c/set axle is too chubby.
BB90 is press fit but you run a standard chainset in it.
Basically, if you want to retain your BB30 c/set then you need a BB30 frame, as I understand it.Facts are meaningless, you can use facts to prove anything that's remotely true! - Homer0 -

What he said - you can run a standard chainset in a BB30 frame with an adapter sleeve, but not the other way round.
I'd choose the frame you want regardless of the BB and swap the chainset if necessary (sell the old one on ebay and it'll not cost much to change).0 -
Thanks
