Hi Guys
Hoiw do you all rate the Ritchey WCS 4 Axis stem Black Wet Look?
I do a lot of XC riding and want something light to replace my Easton EA50 stem.
the one i am thinking of getting is a 90mm 6degree rise.
Is it worth getting or a waste of £45 in comparison to the gains?
thanks

Constantly trying to upgrade my parts. It is a long road ahead as things are so expensive for little gain. n+1 is always the principle in my mind.

i am happy with ym tyres as they are pretty light and do a great job. Don't want them easily shredded & punture easily. My Panaracer Razer XCs are light and roll well.
The stem for a 90mm is approx 120g as it is 132g for a 110mm. It would be a good weight save over my current stem and it would go well with my monkeylite XC carbon bars.Constantly trying to upgrade my parts. It is a long road ahead as things are so expensive for little gain. n+1 is always the principle in my mind.0 -
Agree that it's not really worth doing purely to save weigh, I'll wager there are other places, and it's not exactly ultralight anyway.
Great reliable stem though, you won't go wrong.0 -
Yeah you arent going to notice a weight difference, I got one after being shocked at the price of the Carbon WCS stem, the weight difference between the two is very small but the saving is ridiculous. Looks good too in my opinion.0
