Time or Pinarello

My mate has got a few quid left to him and he's going to buy himself a new frame and has tied it down to a Time RXRS or a Dogma. I think the Time is a nicer/better/rarer frame and was telling him he should get it.I know its his choice and he should ride both but out of interest what do the rest of you guys think?

Get the Time. Tell your mate to read a copy of Rouleur where they visit the Time factory. Very impressive - they even weave their own carbon tubes from raw strands!Expertly coached by http://www.vitessecyclecoaching.co.uk/

Time again - Pinarello should be renamed Chinarello since they outsource everything to China and the bikes are plain fuglyMake mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

Can't stand the wiggly forks and seat stays on Pinarellos so on that basis alone- Time.0

Time
Except, it has an integrated seat post which gets the thumbs down from a travelling and resale perspective.
So I'd get the dogma sadly (except i wouldn't - the parlee z5, colnago m10 or cervelo r5 trump both of them )

TIME = Class. Not many about and they look the business. The new models may be available without the ISP but on the TIME bikes it looks good (I'd prob.want a normal post). As mentioned, they weave their own carbon thread in their French factory in the Rhone Alps. Nothing wrong with the Pinarello but the Time is a notch up imoM.Rushton0

Buddy with 2 carbon Colnagos saves his time VXRS (3 year old round tube ISP one before the tube shapes went crazy) for best. He says the handling is sublime.
Nice choice to have btw - Time or Pino. Higher end Pinos also have some of the shortest HTs in the business (unless they've altered this) so fit is an issue for unflexible types. When a cyclist has a disagreement with a car; it's not who's right, it's who's left.0 -
OK, I was wrong, just looked at the 2011 catalogue and for the Dogma/Prince/FP4/3 frames for a 565mm TT the HT is 170mm. That's 1cm taller than a 56cm Cervelo so I'd say they've increased slightly, but then so has Cervelo in 2011. Are humans less flexible than we were 5 years ago? ^^ I don't think cyclists are getting inflexible, just a reflection of the increasing girth of your typical top-end bike buyer :?Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

I've not ridden a Dogma, but I do have the Prince and last years Time RXR. The Time is a far better build/finish, but tbh I spend most of my time riding the Pinarello for some reason. The Time does draw a lot of attention though, if that's your mates thing. If I had the choice again, I'd get........an EPS.0

Kuota vs. Time? Maybe that Look 695 vs. the Time but Kuota? Nice bikes at an ok price but imo not in the high bracket yet also Marcel Wust rated the KOM model recentlyM.Rushton0
