Swiss Stop green pads

I have a pair of Ceramic Open Pro wheels. I've just replaced some Kool Stop green compound pads for a pair of Swiss Stops.
I've been out twice on them, and OK the weather has been very damp but I've found that they don't stop that well in the wet! From what I've read everywhere this is their best attribute. At the moment I would say they're nowhere near as good as the Kool Stop's.
The only thing I'm wondering is that the Swiss Stop green compound is not supposed to be used with ceramic rims. Anyone have any knowledge or experience?

Problem is they don't do a blue compound for road brakes anymore. And I'm sure I've read on other sites etc that their green compound is OK for ceramic rims.
Perhaps they need a bit of bedding in time?Expertly coached by http://www.vitessecyclecoaching.co.uk/
