Something that should be of interest for anyone in East Anglia, especially if you don't much enjoy the climb at Hog Hill....!
VC Revolution are proud to announce two new race meetings for 2011. With assistance from Ipswich Bicycle Club and Stowmarket and District Cycling Club we will be promoting circuit races at RAF Woodbridge near Ipswich on April 23rd & May 28th 2011.

At each event there will be youth racing as well as a Go-Race, 3/4 and an E/1/2/3 race.
... and although we can't promise any climbs to match the Hoggenberg we certainly won't just be sending riders up and down the 3000yd runway for an hour!
Further details will be available shortly at

Only 8 weeks to go until the first of the Woodbridge events. A great opportunity for anyone in East Anglia who doesn't fancy the trip down to Hog Hill!
Prize list for the events will be supported by Thomas's Cycle Revolution http://www.cycle-revolution.net/index.asp
Pre-entry for 23rd April event closes on Monday 4th April.

Hi John
It sounds great that you guys will be hosting this event. Ther can never be too many crits!!
What is the course like? It's difficult to gauge from the BC website whether its a longish course or a proper fast and furious crit course with death-defying corners.0 -

Yeah - it's more of a long circuit than a 'crit' circuit really - each lap for the senior riders will be around 3 miles - the youth races will be on a shortened version of the full lap0
-
Blimey, 3 miles a lap?
I plan to do at least the first round0 -
