New Fox Van 36 fork does not feel right?

Hi, I have just got a new bike fitted with a Fox van 36 RC2 FIT fork. When I compress the fork, it does not feel smooth, and I think I can feel the spirng vibrating?
Has anyone come across this before? I've tried adjust the preload. rebound but it always feels the same. I have not touched the high or low speed compression.
I have had a set of these 36 RC2's forks before and don't remember this feeling? I also have some Fox 40's and they do not feel like this either.
Anyone got any ideas?

Fox forks require a bit of a break in period to get everything lubed up 100%, and get everything moving smoothly. Give it a few rides then it will ride like a dream.0

Just spoke to mojo and they have recommended leaving the bike upside down for a while to the get the lube over the spring. Will give it a go...0

ive had a couple of sets of vans and you can feel the coils of the spring as you compress the forks when they are new.
give it a few good rides and it will smoothen out.0 -
The new FIT cartridge is also known to have a bit of stick in the initial action but it shouldn't be noticeable when riding really.0
