Sram x7 rear shifter buggerrrrrred dammmm!!!!!!!! help

sram rear shifter has stopped indexing down, instead it just clicks and won`t select any gears. The cable has been replaced but still the same problem. i even took the shifter to peices put back together again seemed fine but when i tried hook it all back up same problem. New shifter time? what do you think?

    Disconnect cable from mech, is the cable moving correctly with the shifter?

    If the cable is moving correctly its the rear mech, if not its the shifter! You need to pull the cable to replicate the return spring tension!

    which way is that?

    to the big cog or to the small cog?
