allo

woke up a while ago, work at 5 so I'm actually on time at the mo. I'm functioning on coffee and teacake at the moment as theres eff all to eat in the house at the mo (plenty of food just nowt worth having) Got a break at half 7 though so I shall be off for bacons then, I can last until that time.

had an awesome idea for photo challenge, lets make it "Where's Gazlar?" after whyamihere came and found me on Sunday whilst I was working. The rules are simple, I tell you which trains I'm on and then you come and find me and have ur pic taken bringing me bacon rolls and a coffee, brilliant!!!

Right then losers, I'm off

    Morning,

Today I'm finally feeling over the flu i had over last weekend. Still got a nasty cough, but I've today off, and haven't been on the bike for 2 weeks so think I'll head out for a bit on it.

Had a dusting of snow overnight, anyone else get any?

Classic Rally Christmas Party (from 19:30)
General Work Christmas Party (at some point)

    Could be painful
  • Bacons currently being consumed.

To be followed by playing with the MASSIVE tub of legos my mum bought the little 'un for her birthday yesterday.

I'm just missing some lightweight shiny things and I could well be living El Caps perfect day.

    Good times!

Question is though, does he know how to drive, or is he one of those people who think a 4wd will automatically make snow part like the red sea and the answer to all traction problems is MORE POWER!

  • Yea... 1st thing I asked him was does he do any green laning... he said no, so my opinion of him immediately dropped.

Working at home is much nicer lol... because I don't have full access to the system I can't do much, so in 50 mins my day is almost complete :D

Supposed to be our work dooo tonight though, and they're all stuck in the Mountains. I'm the only one the commutes lol.
BUT... the venue is just round the corner from my flat :D

    Good Morning and TGIF Freaks!

We have snow. Serious snow. But the trooper that I am, I've made my way into the ofiice - just to give my line manager the good news that I'm moving departments.

I have bacon, I have coffee and, as it's my last day in the office until next year, I've also got a steak-bake and a chicken bake to sustain me until lunchtime...

I shall be putting lots of stuffs in the bin and shredder today. MWHAHAHAHAHAHA!
  • As El Cap said we have snow :D I braved the elements this morning and walked to work. People in the offices are dropping like flies and are moaning and leaving for home already. It's gonna be a quiet day in the museum today.
BUT it's my last day until next year so not all bad.

I live just off crwys road so the walk in was short and painless. I might have to find a nice warm pub to sit in on my way home.

Oh god I know know what you mean.
The road to work this morning was strewn with abandoned cars. And tons of priggs spinning the wheels in 1st gear whilst revving wildly trying to get up a slight incline.
I was waiting behind one such mong in a renault people carrier thing, then he eventually got out angrilly, SLAMMED his door shut, and came up to me telling me it was pointless, I may as well turn round.
So I told him to get in and gave him a lift up the hill.
    Idiot

Anyway, only two of us (men, of course) made it to work, and the children I was meant to be recording for the cartoons today have cancelled. And rightfully so - they're kids, they should be out playing in the snow.
So now I'm home pondering whether to go out on the bike, or go for a walk with the camera, or go sledging, or combine all three.
Oh, and trying to get some of my mates to man the fugg up, rather than moan about being snowed in.

    sounds like a plan :D

i'm officially snowed in, there's about 6 inches of snow so i didn't want to risk taking the car down the hill, i was going to walk to the train station but the trains between hereford and newport are cancelled so i can't do that.

so i've been out for a walk with the boy and the gf is now cooking us bacon sandwiches....mmmmm, great smell :D
  • Yo :) just came out of school and theres officially no snow here :D finally a time to ride my bike with no work :)

Morning, been up for ages. Done all my jobs for the day and now I'm debating whether to wrap present, do my nails or do uni work.

Got an engagement party tonight with friends who I've not seen for ages so I'm determined to look my best which may take some time...
  • Afternoooooooooooon!

Today I had written confirmation of my pay rise woooooo! Not getting back dated as far back as I thought it would though  Never mind, less for the tax man.

I have my Christmas dinner this afternoon at a local Mexican Restraunt, so not very Christmassy, but meh, I'll be hungry by then

I seem to have missed a lot recently. New work positions mean I'm busier, hmmmm.
