swapping 10sp shimano cassette to Sram - Do i need spacer?

Just swapped a 10 speed shimano cassette for a 10 speed Sram one. Am i meant to use a spacer behind the largest sprocket (ie between the cluster of 3 and the hub body).

There was a spacer (about 1mm) with the shimano cassette, but not sure if i have to use this with the Sram one?

Sram PG1050 cassette, shimano 105 hub + freehub.
