Well my carrera vengeance ultimate met an early end due to bike fairies visiting my garage last night :(

Hassle free insurance claim thankfully so now planning its replacement....£600 max and after looking for alternatives on-line I cant find anything better than the Fury for that money unless anyone else knows of any bargains going? Feel free to suggest

My riding is XC around the quantox mainly

Go for the Fury - and better security!

Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
  • +1 for the fury and a nice big chain and ground anchor

Yes I will upgrading my security

The most galling thing about is the bastards broke in, cycled off on mine and left some crappy battered supermarket style FS in its place!

  • tbf though the replacement is better than the original bike, it still hurts when you go to get your bike and its gone.

Fury is a good bike, frame is much better than the Vengeance. And a taser on your garage door!
Thats assuming you have a good Halfords crew near you that you can rely on.

Ah well my christmas present from the wife is a work stand and set of bike tools so I shall buy it boxed and set it up worse than halfords! (at least I can only blame myself then)

Fury it is then, watch the beginners section for stupid questions on what to do when I have sqeezed the brake leavers before I fitted them!
