Hi. Im after a new bike but having trouble finding complete bikes that meet my requirements. Thinking I might have to buy a frame and build it myself.

What I want:

- xc / trail bike
- hardtail
-single speed with horizontal dropouts
-light weight
- forks 100-130mm travel
-hydraulic discs
- nice looking

Have looked at the on one imbred, 456, ragleys, kona, orange p7's

what do you guys think? any suggestions?

I'd build my own Niner SIR 29er single speed if I was in your position
  • Thanks for the replies

From what I can make out the QED is the same as a Ragley piglet but with horizontal dropouts?

How does it compare to the imbred? Both designed by Brant Richards it seems. Any idea of the frame weights? Not listed on their site from what I can see

    And any more suggestions welcomed

    cheers
