My 105 front shifter has broken so I need to replace it.

I was thinking of swapping the shifters for SRAM. The front and rear mechs are 105. Can I do this?

Nope. Sram shifters only work with Sram rear mechs. Front one is OK as Shimano.

As they say, you need SRAM rear mech if using SRAM shifters, but front is OK.

If you could bear to mix&match, you could simply buy a SRAM front/left shifter and run that with your Shimano front mech, keep your Shimano rear/right shifter & rear mech

    But I guess that's not what you're asking !
