Morning,
Please any Advice/ suggestions on some warm, windproof winter gloves? They don't need to be 100% waterproof as there's no chance Im deliberately going cycling when it's 0'C and raining. If they are good I'll happily pay anything upto about £40-50, a worthy sacrifice for warm hands!

Are what you need - if you can find a retailer who still has stock left.

See NapD's winter glove bargain post.
I got a pair of Specialized SubZeros for £20. My hands were actually hot last night!0 -
+1 Spec Subzeros.
I usually get cold hands <5 degs regardless of what I wear. After 3 hours yesterday in low temps and freezing wind my hands were still too hot! Very tempted to remove the outer glove but was too worried about dropping one somewhere...Your Past is Not Your Potential...0 -

Out on Sunday with the gang, did about 35 miles. The others wearing specialist cycling gloves all were complaining about cold fingers. Me, I was wearing a pair of gloves I bought from our local Esso garage. About this time of year they have a massive pile of them, £2.99 a pair. Warmest gloves I've ever warn, in fact on Sunday my hands were a bit too hot.0

Assos don't fit the spec but the "system" was fine at -11C - I'm not going to ride if it's colder than thatROAD < Scott Foil HMX Di2, Volagi Liscio Di2, Jamis Renegade Elite Di2, Cube Reaction Race > ROUGH0

I bought these about 2 weeks ago and they are super at keeping the hands warm and cosy:

Only niggles I have had are that there is a furry finger to wipe your nose with and they are tight fitting, but great at doing what they say on the "tin".0 -

I find them useless as soon as it gets down to freezing - has to be a reasonably high intensity ride for them to stay warm then! Fantastic above that though and the real benefits are breathability, maintaining dexterity and lack of bulk.0
