I've been considering one myself but am a bit worried it will be too much like my Meta, where as you extend the seat post you end up hanging further out over the back wheel. Have been considering a 2010 Cube AMS 125 instead which has almost the same travel but different geometry - difficult to pick! Did you try the Stereo (or an AMS) before you bought? Yes I did get from CRC in the end the deal was too good to miss.
You're right about the seatpost it does push you back the further you extend it but as I have a long body I benefit from that. I have riden an AMS but it was a 100 not the 125 and I felt it would be too similar to my hardtail and had made my mind up I wanted something slacker. It was still a nice ride though, there's a few AMS owners on here who could probably add more for you.
I've not riden it yet, as it only arrived yesterday and I haven't riden one off road before either only round the road near one of the shops near me.0
