right after making a huge error, buying a fiamma bike rack when forgetting i had a spoiler on my T5 i now have to get a tow bar and a towbar bike rack.

so 2 questions, one really not related to this forum, but what sort of price is a towbar for a VW T5?

second question, what do you recomen? looking at the 'platform' racks, where you strap the wheels down, but prices range to £500 :| its for 3 bikes.
looking at the thule ride on, 9503?

Fixed toward around £150 and detectable £350. Thule Euroclassic is about the best you can get at around £300.
  • +1 for the Thule
  • why do you rather spend the extra £200 on the euro classic?

The best would be the Thule Euroclassic 909 which is for three bikes....these racks are great as you can tilt them with the bikes on to access the rear. Easy to pop on and lockable to your towbar. You can also get additional locking handles for each bike....

I have just bought one from PF Jones of ebay for £280 inc P&P..worth every penny

Yep...my mate has the same and did a 350 mile round trip to Glentress three weeks ago...80 MPH on the motorway and you didn't even know it was fitted and had two DH bikes on !!

Had the Ride-On, worked great, bargain price (£100 I think I paid). Light board and wiring included.
