I've accidentally spilt some of the lubricant from my Cycleops Fluid2, can someone tell me what lubricant (and the quantity) is used so I can buy more?

My fluid 2 appears to have leaked.
Any luck finding out what the fluid is?0 -
Hi keracticus....
No, sadly they never replied to my email, so I phoned them only to be told I'd need a new "head unit" because it's a specialist lubricant that can't be bought by a 3rd party
Surely somebody knows a lubricant that will do the job? :idea:0 -
How did it get spilt?
(just so I can avoid the same problem)
I found that Paligap were excellent. A chap called Angus there sorted out a broken clamp on my Fluid Pro.0 -
magliaceleste, it got spilt because some numpty (me) opened it :oops:0

Sadly I've still had no email response (2 emails sent). Despite the fact I phoned them and sent an email to an individual I was specifically asked to email.
With this weather and the lack of a turbo I'll not fit in my jerseys soon :oops:0 -
I'd open it again, take a sample and find out the viscosity, then find a suitable replacement.
Not sure what properties are in it, or whether it's mineral, synthetic, semi-synthetic, etc... Could be quite difficult.
Could Paligap just service the unit?...Start with a budget, finish with a mortgage!0
