Continental GP Attack 22mm, ok for rear?

As above.

Is it ok for rear? I got given it so I want to use it, and also do the wear ok in this sort of weather?

    It is ok, but wont last.

    It is for the front! You'd be better swapping the front tyre to the back, and using it on the front.

    it's a race tyre, 22mm, lightweight, designed for perfrormance not longevity

    how long it lasts will depend on road conditons, it's got wear indicators so just check every now and then

    watch out for cuts if you ride it in the wet
    my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny

    it is a slick and sticky summer speed tyre.

    I love 'em

    It will do you for winter, but not the best option. I'd consider saving it for the spring!

    I'd like to save it for spring, but my Rubino's are abit worn and I don't want to spend money on new tyres yet.

    It will last well on the front and also grip well. I have one that has done about 8000 miles since 2006 and it has plenty of rubber left. The tread is too soft for the rear and will not last very long at all.
