Frame identification help

Any one recognise this frame, it states it was from a prototype. It looks similar to the NS Surge which I like but the added luxury of Reynolds 853 tubing. I'd like to take a punt but even with good materials it could still be a dog.

Hmmm, hard to say really - could do with closer pics of the dropouts .

I'd ask him for a weight as well.

Weight is supposed 5.5lb and from what I can see of the drop outs they look non replacable.

I'm looking at getting a steel hardtail as a plaything with the obvious favourites of Evil Soveriegn, Dialled Alpine but also looked at others such Coic Bfe and Ragley Bluepig. I really want something that I can treat like an overgrown BMX but also ride all day if I want. The bike on Ebay looks about right but I think I'll ask him for the full geometry and more pics.

How tall are you/leg length? Looks a small seat tube, might not get seatp post long enough!

It looks very similar to a Rock Lobster, although the seatstays seem to come up a bit further onto the seat-tube.
