I have been building a singlespeed and have consulted VeloSolo's great online Q&A's on more than one occassion, I sent them a mail last night to buy some stuff and they came back 1st thing this morning with a nice, personal, mail with all my answers. What great service and a great website. Looks like we are getting some great companies in this country with good, old fashion, customer service. Great.

Heh heh, he got a load of grief from me when posting about Shutt a while ago and I wrongly accused him of shilling! :o

He's just a happy customer who sounds like a shill

Not guilty, working for either Velosolo or Shutt would seam like a dream job though. I remember those days NapoleonD, I just get excited when I find a good company tryig it's best, everyone is quick to moan about the smallest thing and blow it out of context.

I know how it may sound if you are spouting on about good service so can't blame anyone for thinking that way, I've just got a boring desk job for a big company that's not very cycle friendly, have not even got anywhere to lock a bike up :(

Velosolo have some nice stuff if you like buiidng your singlespeeds and have always been very helpful (I dont work there either  ) but I do wish they would sort out the shipping cost thing when you order stuff and just do it like 99.9% of other online retailers.

I did not mind the postage, they have a maximum charge of about £5

i bought a new 1/8" 42T chainring for my fixed and it arrived the next morning, with a nice hand written note thanking me for my custom on the invoice... a nice personal touch.

A good website with lots of info and all the bits (except a frame) that you need for a fixed gear of single speed.

    Recommeded,,,
