Hi Chris,
Try this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2t0ttU_J ... ed&search=
this gives lots of related videos as well.
I rebuilt some Chorus circa 2000 levers earlier this year, be aware that there appear to be lots of variations to models , so best to find as much as you can-- a google helps as well.
Have fun!!

get a pair of the G-springs Mercian or Condor cycles will have them.
take lots of photos as you dismantle them. Replace a la Haynes manual
It isn't too difficultRecipe: shave legs sparingly, rub in embrocation and drizzle with freshly squeezed baby oil.0 -
Get an extra thumb grafted-on and hold the lever in a vice - re-assembly is the tricky bitMake mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

Thanks for all the info. I'll give it a try when I'm feeling calm, sober and awake!

My first go took about 4 hours. I can now do them in about half an hour.
Definitely a skill worth learning I now carry spare parts in stock and any problems I rebuild and clean them.
Be methodical and take your time. clean all the parts and make a record of how it goes together especially the spacers and springs.
Fitting the last spring requires all the tools to be near since you cant let go.
I got the parts form Mercian the only problem is their minimum order charge of £10 G springs are 60 p each.Racing is rubbish you can\'t relax and enjoy it- because some bugger is always trying to get past.0
