Hi there, I've got hold of a set of American Classic 420's but they are Campagnolo compatible, does anybody know where you can buy a shimano freehub for them from?

  • Thanks, I've emailed them but they don't seem too keen to reply. I was thinking, would I be able to buy a campagnolo 10 speed cassette and replace the spacers with shimano 10 seed ones? I'm a bit worried that might make the cassette too wide for the freehub though. Any thoughts?

Planet X use (or used) AC hubs on some of their wheels, try asking them?
  • I'd give them a call. Their website is still under construction so I guess they are fairly new. I would have a look on the CTC forums for re-spacing the cassette there is usually lots of Campag Shimano hybrid chat there.

Respacing the Campagnolo cassette is possible as long as it is seperable into individual sprockets. Try Highpath Engineering for spacers. FWIW Planet-X stopped doing A-C hubs a while ago.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
