specialized allez elite frame weight?

not exactly road buying as I already own one but just wondering if anyone knows the weight of a 2010 specialized allez elite frame (its the A1 frame, 54cm)? I've looked all over the net and no joy...even contacted specialized but they don't have the info...somewhat surprising.
I want to upgrade it to make the bike a bit lighter, and also safer. I have no idea of frame weight and if its soo heavy I might just replace it but if its not too bad I will upgrade and sell off the tiagra stuff and the xero xr-1 wheels I put on it which are super flexy.
Just want to gauge whether its worth upgrading.

Lighter and safer in the same sentence clash a bit...
I used to have an Allez comp (alloy+carbon) and it was a pretty light setup, I would be surprised if the frame was more than 1.3 Kg
By the way, it was one of the best bikes I have ownedleft the forum March 20230 -
If you removed all the parts from your frame you would be surprised just how light it really is, also i believe the Allez frame is highly regarded anyway :?
I have built a couple of road bikes and was surprised how the lovely light frame starts to bloat up as parts are added. Biggest culprits seem to be the chainset / chain / deraileurs and cassette.
If you want to chase lower weight look at wheels and groupset or just buy a lighter bike

Safer as in less flexy wheels, I have xero wheels on it and although they are light they are way too flexy even for a 66kg me. I've bought some discounted RS80s which are meant to be pretty stiff and light. Also tiagra brakes arent the greatest in the wet (I already have koolstops on them) so was thinking of upgrading to ultegra brakes which I have on another bike and they are much better. Also thinking of upgrading the rest of the groupset to ultegra.
1.3kg would be great but I fear the A1 frame on the elite is somewhat heavier.0 -

well i do have two other very light bikes which are great but its making the elite feel rather unenjoyable which I ride to work everyday. Part of it is down to the xero xr-1 wheelset which makes cornering a little sketchy and partly the bike weight.
I'm not after anything really light. Im probably going to go with ultegra groupset (already have the chainset lying around) and see how it fairs weight wise.
Does anyone know the weight of the tiagra groupset? Thats another elusive bit of information!0
