Depends on the forks. I drilled out the fork crown on some mtb forks to take a calliper brake.More problems but still living....0

I did it with 650a wheel in mtb forks, different reach calipers are available, no problem.Bikes, saddles and stuff

these are a 73mm reach, designed for the old 27in wheel forks where the calliper needs to reach down to a 700c wheel.
best thing to do is put the wheel into the fork and wrap some tape on the fork leg where the rim is level with, then measure the drop"I get paid to make other people suffer on my wheel, how good is that"

You could just fit a 700c fork - as mtb forks have more clearance they are usually around the same length as 700c.Bikes, saddles and stuff
