Giant XTC advice

at my LBS there range of ex hire and displays are coming out and there is an XTC 1 for £780 good buy? i only do XC stuff im planning on starting racing next year its an 18" frame and im 5 foot 10 inches do you think this will fit? currently i ride a Giant boulder in a large which is somthing like a 21" i belive, im gonna try it out this weekend and see how it goes give it a ride around, has anybody got these and how are they? the review on here is a little mixed but i would like a little more of a "life" review thanks guys!!! and Girls!!!

Ben, the retail is £1,300 so yes I would say it was a good buy as long as they give it a service.
The XTC is a proven frame and is rip for upgrades....don't think you can go wrong to be honest...0 -

yeh have seen those but i think im gonna wait till the new year probably, might bet a boardman see what 2011 brings or the post christmas need for money brings in terms of secound hand bikes
