Just had an email from kilo to go, next years cat will be on sunday march 27th 2011 and entries open on monday november 1st!

    any route details yet? Hope it's going to be a nice hilly one like 2009 rather than this year's snoozefest.

    Having the luxury of Swiss hill and not using it is criminal....

    People travel to Belgium to do Koppenberg and co. while there's plenty of them in Cheshire

    only if they closed it.... but they wont .. never ever
    'tis a nice challenge but spoilt by the probability of cars ( the local residents) ascending and descending and if you aint touchin red zone you aint getting the best out of it anyways.
    I had to use a lot of much needed oxygen last time to shout for clearance.
    You cant expect Alderley Edge to do without their cars for an hour or so in that area.

    ( I'm strugglin to think of any more cobbled climbs in Cheshire tho')

    I signed up for the Cheshire Cat today. It'll probably be the first sportive that I'll be doing next year so I'll still have my heavy winter legs.

    Same crappy course as last year, nearly 20% entry fee increase... well done organisers!

    ho hum... this is one good reason to find actual races to take part in.
    Weekend warriors though will make up the numbers ;-)

    The course was dull last year after the first few climbs, but a strong wind made it pretty challenging still. Don't think I'll return though.
