Bar Change question.......

Hello

I am looking to change my bars over for some carbon bars - do you think I could simply loosed the Campag brakes and slide them off the existing bars without removing the cables etc? Then I could simply slide them onto the new bars & tighten them....

Or do I need to do it properly and strip everything off etc?

Any one tried it?

    Having no direct experience of the dark Italian arts I'm not 100% sure but such a strategy certainly works with Shimano and SRAM

    Of course you can...

    I would remove the all fixing bolt, so you can take them off without the hassle of "sliding" them along the bars (which will result in scratching of the new carbon ones when you "slide" them up again
