Any advice on choosing the right stem?

Currently on Ritchey adjustable, and it doesn't feel as solid as the singe-piece one, however once you lock in yourself into an 84 deg one there is no scope for tweaking when needed.
Thanks.

    correct.
  • A stem is a stem. But there is a case for getting one the right length and then getting it set at the right height.

Specialized do a stem with shims to give a range of angles. I have the 12 degree option which can be tweeked between 8 and 16 degrees and feels nice and stiff :D
