Look Keo removal

I tried to search for this and the workshop articles are useless to search in.

I've recently had to remove pedals and swap them around. I have just tried to remov the left side look keo and am worried that i'm tightening it not loosening it. I can't get it off. Is there a trick to remember which way to loosten pedals?

At school it was Stalagmites and stalagtites.. tights come down..

Always turn towards the back of the bike when removing pedals.

LH pedal = LH thread
RH pedal = RH thread

ok.. clockwise? anti-clockwise?

I was hoping you would`nt ask that ......... LH thread screws IN anti cw when viewed from the outside but since we are talking about Look pedals the Allen key will be on the inside, so the key will turn in cw direction when removing the LH pedal when viewed from the outside.
Or as Hairyside stated key should be moving towards rear of bike, from 12 o`clock position.

Turn the spindle in the same direction that the pedal turns when you're riding.

So, looking at the bike from the side that the pedal is on in both cases:

Right hand pedal = anticlockwise to loosen
Left hand pedal = clockwise to loosen
