Pedal Advice Needed Please

I’ve just sold a bike with some DMR V8’s which I’ve been running for 4 years hassle free (apart from squirting a bit of grease in every 6 months.) Was going to replace the (shockingly bad) pedals on the new steed and was thinking of deviating from the old faithfuls to something a bit lighter, and dare I say it, pimper. Would like to keep the price under £40 if possible.
Any recommendations from the collected wisdom here, or is it V8 all the way?

Got some Nano Techs from Superstar they are immense and look a lot better in real life than they do in the pictures.
They don't spin like XTR SPDs but they are reasonably light, thin and so far (6 months, one careless owner) they are holding up well. Pins are well sharp
Would've liked some Straitline SCs but they were too expensive.0 -

Any of the Kona wah wah style pedals get my vote. At £40 that's the Superstar's ;-)0

And equally as bad
If you like your V8's, save yourself and get some Wellgo V12 "copies" or get the Superstars, either the Nano's or the Ignites look pretty decent0 -
