Tapered Steerer with 1.5" Bottom

Waiting for my new frame which has a tapered steerer. Inch and eigth at top; inch and half at bottom.

I have a slide hammer, but not one big enough to fit a 1.5" crown race. But, how much effort do you need to fit a crown race to a carbon steerer anyway? And how would I best go about fitting a 1.5" crown race to a carbon steerer?

Okay. Gonna buy a 1.5" slide hammer and whack it one with a lump hammer.
