i've just ordered a pair of these (so i suppose it's a bit late for buying advice), but i was just wondering if anyone has experience with these or other leg warmers - how well do they stay up? I can imagine them slipping down as a ride goes on. is this the case or do they stay where you want them?

Note that some manufacturers make leg and knee and armwarmers in different sizes. If they are too small you can maybe fit them to your arms instead. And if they are too big you could wear them like a boob tube.0

I've got them and the rubber grippers keep them where they need to be. They go quite high up under your shorts so hard for them to slip down and they fit quite snugly.0

Leg warmers don't usually slip down, coupled with a zip at the bottom. Also have grips around the bottoms.0

Was also looking at a pair of Santini leg warmers from Prendas so figured I'd resurrect this thread to seek sizing advice. I'm 5'11" and about 74kg so thighs are by no means tree trunks. Was just wondering if anyone has any opinions on whether to go for the medium or the large size. Done a search here and couldn't find sizing. Advice appreciated as always.0

Go for medium I have a 32 inch inside leg and medium fits me with the grippers coming up to just over halfway up my thigh, plus my legs are not tree trunks either.
If you are still unsure drop them an e-mail they will reply in a few hours, I have a pair sitting next to me in my bag if you need any other details.0 -
Thanks for that Henri. Think they only have the Large left on sale, typical. I might drop them an email and see what they reckon, but going by what your saying its looking like a medium.
Thanks again0 -

Thanks again
I had exactly the same problem as I wanted the large as they are cheaper but would be far to big, they are still a good bit of kit for the extra £10.000 -
They have the katusha / gazprom in medium just get those ?0

Ordered them there, thanks for the advice Henri!!!0

Looks better value than the £54 legwarmers in the comic last week !
My legs never slip down - as your shorts hold them in place too - armwarmers I find more annoying. I've taken to pinning them. It was either that or develop biceps.0 -
Katusha / Gazprom leg warmers arrived yesterday. Fit fine, thanks again for the size advice Henri. Super fast delivery from Prendas, first time using them and will definitely be ordering from them again, top service!!!0

Recently bought some thermal Assos leg warmers in Large. They are absolutely brilliant. Way better than I imagined, and even today when I left home (-2'c) when twinned with normal shorts I was toasty warm all the way to work.0
