Karrimor Cycle Pad Tights - Info/Warning

I didn't expect much from these at £12.99 (down from £34.99 yeah, bet you shifted loads at that price) whilst in Sports Direct getting some of my kids' back to school supplies

wore them out today over 90+ miles and have to say they were very comfortable and a good fit, but..... none too impressed after 25 miles when I noticed they had stanied my nice white saddle, presumably just through a bit of sweat as it didn't rain for a change

a soaking in MucOff and scrubbing with kitchen towel, then baby wipes has only shifted maybe 50% of the staining :x

exactly the same thing happened to me. next day did 30miles wearing my old shorts and seat was like new again afterwards - polished clean. i thiink the tights need a couple of washes to get the excess dye out. mine are alright now and seat stays white.

I noticed this too when washing them, a rogue pair of white socks which found their way into that wash are now quite a dark grey - the rest of the cycling gear in the wash was black thankfully...

Can't complain for £12, but the fit on mine aren't as good as the fit on the Karrimor shorts & the pad doesn't seem as comfy either - the front of the tights seems really baggy to the extent that any out of the saddle sprinting has the boys rattling around like trainers in the washing machine, not a good look - I now wear baggies over them so the general public have less to gossip about.

Anyone found any other bargain-tastic cycling gear lately?

I've got these. Been using them for commuting, Oly used them about a dozen times now, but I find the pad just slips forwrads//upwards and none of it is in contact with the saddle !

They are quite comfortable and they were £12.99 They countered my overspend on the bike!
