Ok I am looking for a new wheelset for my ageing Yeti asr 575... I tend to ride XC/ All mountain all day....I have a set of pace 130mm carbon shocks up front so nothing too intense. y current XT/ Mavic 717s have been great, but the rear hub has gone so why not buy a new set. I plan to ride the Alps next year and want a set of wheels that are:
A: Strong (who doesn't)
B: Light < 1800g ish
C: Not too expensive - my budget is £350
Reliable - the least amount of maintenance the better
E: Tubeless Ready
So having a look I have settled on these wheels sets (front and rear):
DT Swiss XR1450 @ £375 - 50% off - This are the most expensive of the set but also the lightest.
Fulcrum Racing 3 @ £323 - These look good and I have a set of Fulcrums on my Road Bike with no issues
Mavic Crossmax ST 2009 @ £325 - Currently at 50% off...These I think are the more all mountain of the bunch (or claim to be) and pretty light at 1650g
Hope Pro 2 Stans ZTR Crest @ £260 - The cheapest set but also very light... but not sure if strong enough for all mountain?
So just wondering what experience anyone has had with these good or bad?

Mmm I'm going for the Pro2 and Crests in the next few weeks. Don't know when you'll buy them but I'll be able to comment on their durability in a months time :P0
