Fair enough. TBH wasnt sure if they did do them or not.

Instead of Snap-on how about Blue point. They are essetially Snap on but not quite as bling!

Also Teng tools is worth a look.

    spotted this one.

As long as it's chrome vanadium should be ok? The aldi chrome vanadiuum allen keys are pretty good, and cv screwdrivers are durable too.

  • Got a set of 8 X 'T' hex head & 8 X Torx from machine mart. IIRC was under £25 the set.

They not t bar but I have some long stem allen keys that are just excellent. Can recommend.
They come in a nice storage attachment to keep 'em safe to hand.
I just need another set as law of home tinkering, the allen key you need is always out of reach when you need it.

I bought a set of the T handle torx wrenches, seem pretty good.

Feel more comfy with using straight edged ones, ball are ok when the bolt/thread is loose, but even before you tighten it up, found they slip a little. And rather not risk rounding the bolts. Would prefer the longer and shorter sides to be standard allen not ball type. Also prefer full T handle not L

I use a set of gucci Beta Tools T-handle wrenches. The advantage of this design is you can configure the handle as you wish for an L or T, and also use the long bar as a handle if you really want to get your torque on.

    http://www.ttcuk.com/t-handle-wrenches-130-c.asp.

They're a bit expensive, but really lovely tools.

FWIW if you're using decent ball-ended keys and you're still rounding off heads, there is something wrong with your technique.

Wouldn't say round off the heads, just surface area contact doesn't feel as secure as standard allen keys. Ball end are good for obstructed bolts and those at a slight angle (ie bottle cage)

I use a set similar to this:

    Here

Not T handle (but you can use tommy bar, UJ, torque wrench etc.
One drawback with this set is that it doesn't have a 5.5mm hex. A seat clamp bolt on one of my bikes uses that size.

    link to aldi set

    http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers/sp ... _15930.htm

Aldi's own allen key set in a hinged holder is pretty good, £2.99 set of roughly 10? And last one had a plastic handle.
