Hi guys,
I have a old GT im doing up but the BB is cross threaded, can it be rethread? or would a external bb go in and run ok, at the moment it has a sq taper in and I can't get the plastic part to go in as it hits the bb shell.

if you want to fit an external BB you will still need the threads chasing and then if they are OK the BB shell will need facing.
